eCargo - Give access to run a GCP function

Common Problems or Queries​

  • Need to change GCP project name for function access
  • Rename project from ec-bc-b2s-smartreceiver to ec-bc-b2s-irr-event-subscriber
  • Configuration of access for Cloud Functions

Solution​

It is required to change the GCP project name to allow proper access to Cloud Functions.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Plan the name change:

    • Verify dependencies of the current project
    • Identify services that may be affected
    • Schedule maintenance window if necessary

  2. Execute name change:

    • Change project name from: ec-bc-b2s-smartreceiver
    • To: ec-bc-b2s-irr-event-subscriber
    • Update all references in configurations

  3. Verify access:

    • Confirm that Cloud Functions access works correctly
    • Validate that all dependent services remain operational
    • Update documentation with the new name
