ANDES on GitLab LATAM Airlines
The ANDES Engineering Platform is an internal open-source project (or InnerSource) that aims to improve the developer experience at LATAM Airlines. Our goal is to build a developer community that shares knowledge, tools, and resources to make software development easier across the company.
That is why we want to announce the LATAM Airlines / ANDES subgroup.
We will start publishing different artifacts and tools in LATAM Airlines / ANDES. We share our code, documentation, and project-related resources.
In LATAM Airlines / ANDES, developer access is automatically granted to all LATAM Airlines users who have an active GitLab license (at least one permission).
If you have access to GitLab, you already have access to our repository. You only need to wait for the automatic process to assign you the developer role, which may take a few minutes after your account is created or updated.
Use ANDES to share
If you have a GitLab subgroup with projects you want to share with the LATAM Airlines developer community, you can use the LATAM Airlines / ANDES subgroup to do it.
In the subgroup you want to share with the community:
- Go to the
Manage > Memberssection. - Click the
Invite a groupbutton. - Search for the
LATAM Airlines / ANDESgroup and select it.
- Select the
Developerrole and clickInvite. - Done!

The group you want to share is now visible to the entire LATAM Airlines developer community.
I also have an open-source project.
If you have an open-source project that you think could be useful to the LATAM Airlines developer community, we would love for you to share it with us.
Contact me directly through Google Chat and we will sort it out.
We invite you to explore the LATAM Airlines / ANDES subgroup, contribute your ideas, and collaborate with us to make ANDES an even better engineering platform for the LATAM developer community.
